Shipping Policies at Joyful Momma

Our products are sent via USPS mail services within 48 hours of the order being placed.

About Shipping Prices

Prices are generally calculated via the USPS website's application, based on their real-time shipping costs. With that said, sometimes their site has a bad day, and either gives shipping estimates in error, or doesn't function at all. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel your shipping charge is in error.

The situation will get prompt attention and be fixed to the best of my ability.

Also calculated into the cost of shipping items to you is the cost of packaging materials, such as envelopes, boxes, bubble wrap, and time to get the orders processed and packaged. Thanks for understanding.

About Shipping Methods

I usually will ship first class mail if you only have one book, and I will ship either Priority or Media if you have multiple books. I process orders every week day unless some unexpected emergency arises. I almost always ship within 48 hours.This is not a large automated factory but just a momma working with her hands in her own home, with younger hands assisting. So the fastest you will recieve your order is 2 weekdays to process and package it and 2-5 days shipping transit time.

A Special Caveat about Media Mail:

Please note that the USPS policy on Media Mail (which you can read at their website) states that some Media Mail packages may be randomly searched to verify that they only contain printed material, therefore there is a chance, when choosing this cheapest option, that you books may not arrive promptly or packaged with the same care I originally packed them with. :-). I try to avoid Media when the price difference is not great, even if you only paid for Media. I only wish to warn you that I've had several orders in the past arrive mangled or not arrive at all when shipping Media Mail, therefore I avoid it whenever possible.

About Receiving Your Ebooks

Ebooks are available for immediate download when paying by Paypal or Credit Card through Paypal. If you didn't see your download link, log back into the bookstore, go to your order history, and it should be there. Your unique download links are programmed to expire within 7 days of purchase, so please try to download your product before then. I can reactivate your download link if it is necessary. Please do not share your download link. I can track it if I want to if a purchase was downloaded a suspicious number of times from different computers

Returns

You must notify me within 2 weeks of receiving your purchase for any damages or items for return. A credit will be issued to you for the amount of your purchase minus the shipping charges + a 10% restocking fee. Nearly all of my items are described in detail with pictures on these pages so please make sure you want it before you buy it! Damages that may occur in shipping will be taken care of as the situations arise. I strive to pack all our boxes with care and this is a rare occurrence, and usually only applies to packages shipped via Media Mail (see above). Please notify me immediately if your goods have been damaged in transit. I will do our best to fix the situation.

Return Procedure

You will receive a credit coupon within 2 weeks if your items are in good, saleable condition.(unless it is being returned for a problem that was not noticed upon shipping--such as a CD or DVD that does not work) Damage in shipping back to Joyful Momma is your responsibility so pack the items carefully.
